Growing up, I have always loved butter cookies.
They are sweet and buttery just how I like them.
I was so happy I found this 3-ingredient butter cookie recipe byThe Cooking Foodieon Youtube.

The steps are so easy to follow and the cookies turned out really good.
You have to make these too!

Step 2:
In a large bowl, put 1 cup of softened butter.
Next, sift the powdered sugar into the bowl to remove some lumps.
Beat them well until light and fluffy using a hand mixer or stand mixer.

Step 3:
Add the flour in two batches.
Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of flour if the dough is too soft.
Step 4:
Shape the cookies.
Place in the refrigerator and refrigerate for 1 hour.
After 1 hour, remove it from the fridge and roll out the dough into 1/4-inch thick.
Next, cut it into your desired shape.
It could be round, heart or rectangle.
After 30 minutes, unwrap the dough and slice it into 1/4 inch thick slices.
Step 5:
Place the cookies on the baking tray and put them inside the oven.
Bake for about 12 to 15 minutes or until slightly golden.
Step 6:
Once done baking, let it cool.
