Next, add the minced garlic cloves and saute for a minute or until fragrant.
Step 2:
Put 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour into the pan.
Mix well with the onions and garlic.

After that, pour 2 cups of low-sodium chicken or vegetable stock gradually, stirring after every addition.
Next, add 1 cup of grated carrot and 3 cups of cut broccoli.
Mix the ingredients well and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.

Step 4:
Next, add 2 cups of half and half or any substitute.
Next, add grated cheddar cheese and let it simmer for another minute.
Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
