Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla to the egg whites and mix.

Next, add 4 cups of whole milk and mix well.
Step 3:
Place the pot over low heat and continuously whisk.
Cook until you have a thick consistency.

If it starts to bubble up, take it off the heat for a second.
Slowly drizzle the hot milk.
Whisk in the egg yolk mixture into the milk mixture in the pot.
Place back over medium heat and whisk gently for 3 to 5 minutes until thickened.
Step 5:
Add 3 tablespoons of bourbon or whiskey to the mixture.
Mix, then add the unsalted butter.
Whisk until the butter is melted.
Pour into a bowl, cover the top with parchment paper and let it cool for 1 hour.
Step 7:
Mash the bananas in a bowl.
Then add to the sugar.
Next, add 1/4 cup of whiskey and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
Step 8:
Bring back to medium heat and whisk continuously for 5 minutes.
After that, reduce the heat to low and add 3/4 cup of cream.
Whisk it in until incorporated.
Take off the heat and transfer it to a heatproof bowl.
Slice the 5 bananas, then toss in your caramel.
Mix until stiff peaks.
