Activate the dry yeast in the lukewarm milk.
Preheat the oven to 200F and pop in the bowl to help the dough rise.
Sprinkle some flour on the counter surface and knead the dough.

Roll out the dough and brush with a layer of butter using a rubber spatula.
Sprinkle an even layer of the filling mixture on top of the dough.
Roll the dough, starting from the long side.

Then, cut out the buns using dental floss, string, or a knife.
Spray baking spray on your cast iron skillet and place the cinnamon buns in it.
Place the buns in the oven to bake for 20 minutes at 350F.

Once the cinnamon rolls are out of the oven and still hot, brush on the cream cheese icing.
