After that, strain the ground sausages and transfer them to a tissue-lined bowl.
The tissue will absorb all the excess oils.

Cook the 8 slices of bacon in the remaining grease oil from the ground sausages.
Peel four large russet potatoes and dice them into bite-sized pieces.
Then, add in 2 tbsp of flour and stir until incorporated.

Pour in 32 oz of chicken stock and turn up the heat to medium-high.
Next, add in the diced potatoes and cook until they come to a boil.
Turn down the heat and seal the pan with a tight lid.
Let it simmer for 15 minutes.
When done, add in the ground sausages and bacon.
Stir until everything is well incorporated.
Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream and add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
To combine, stir everything together.
