Once the oil is hot, add the bacon strips and cook to your desired crispiness.
Cook the bacon in batches, then set them aside.

Get one piece of sliced bread and place it on a flat surface.

Flatten it using a rolling pin or any improvised rolling pin.
Do the same for the remaining slices.
