Prepare all the ingredients as stated above.
In a microwave-safe bowl, add all the prepared chopped vegetables and cover with plastic wrap.
Place the bowl in the microwave and heat for about 2 minutes.

This process will make the vegetables firm but not raw tasting.
Once ready and the chicken has cooked through, carefully remove it from the crockpot.
Shred the chicken with two forks and return it to the crockpot along with 2 cups of egg noodles.

Cover the crockpot again and cook for another 30-45 minutes on high.
Remove the bay leaves and transfer the soup into generous serving bowls.
It would be nice to choose your favorite special bowls for occasions when youre having friends over.
