Using the eggshells will increase the calcium in your soil.
Tomato plants need calcium regularly.

Step Three
Take one tablespoon of shredded eggshell, one tablespoon of white vinegar and combine it.
This should start to react together and foam up.
Let the mixture sit for 30 minutes to allow the calcium to separate from the eggshell.
