In a pan at medium-high, add 1 lb of lean ground meat.
Season it with some ground pepper and salt and 3 tbsp taco seasoning.
Mix it until the ground beef is no longer pink.

Stir the ingredients inside the crock pot.

Put the lid and set it on low for five hours.
After five hours, taste first the sauce if it needs some adjustments, then add the pasta shells.

Put the lid back on and cook it for another 20 minutes on high.
(Check the dish after 10 minutes and stir it around.)
After 20 minutes, add 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese and give it a good mix.
Transfer it to a bowl then serve.
