Thats right, all it takes is a quick hardware store trip and some manual labor.
As an added bonus, he will teach you how to create cushions for the bench as well.

My patio looks amazing after adding these cinder block benches.
Best of all, it didnt take much time to build!
You could even do this project as an upcycle if you already have similar materials lying around.

I paired my couch withpatchwork pillows, andquilted pinwheel pillowsto create a relaxing seating area.
Step One
Blake says, Get to work smoothing out those edges.
Sand the wood down till the edges are smooth enough to sit on.

Step Two
Stain and seal the wood.
Blake says to let the stain soak into the wood for about 15 minutes.
Step Three
Get ready to assemble.
You will have to test fit the cinderblocks to ensure they fit together in the best way possible.
