Reserve at least 1 cup of pasta water for later.
Step 3:
Place a large pan over medium heat and add 1/4 cup of olive oil.
Saute the shrimp for about 4 minutes or until firm and pink.

Once done, remove the shrimp and set aside tented with foil.
In the same pan, saute the garlic for 3 minutes until lightly golden.
Step 4:
Pour 1/2 cup of the reserved pasta water into the pan.

Next, add the butter and the al dente pasta.
Toss well so the pasta will absorb the sauce for about 1 minute.
Add the shrimp, parsley, lemon juice, and lemon zest.
Step 5:
Turn off the heat and taste the pasta.
Add more seasonings: salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper if needed.
If its dry, you’re able to add more pasta water.
Serve with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and lemon wedges on the side.
