Prepare and clean your potatoes well.

Add and melt 4 tablespoons of butter, then saute the potatoes and onions.
Season the potatoes with salt, black pepper, paprika, thyme, and parsley according to taste.
Add the minced garlic as well, then mix it well.

Lower the heat as needed, you’re free to also add more butter if you like.
Cook it for an additional 10 minutes, uncovered.
Remove the cover and add water, let it cook until fork-tender, then serve.
