I love this tutorial so much because it is pretty straightforward and simple.
In fact, I already made a few of these covers for my steering wheel.

You should try sewing your own steering wheel covers too!
This projects steering wheel measured 4812 inches.
Pin them in place so that they dont move around, then sew them.
Overlap the ends of the elastic by 12, then sew them together.
Stretch the cover nice and even.
