Step 2
Add the pepper slices and let them simmer for exactly 4 minutes.
Pour the boiling syrup evenly onto the jars filled with jalapeno peppers.
Wipe the rims of the jar with a clean and damp towel.

Place the lids onto the jars.
Bring the water to a full rolling boil, then set a timer for 10 minutes to 15 minutes.
Once the timer goes off, remove the jars using tongs then place them onto a cooling rack.

Leave them to cool, undisturbed for 24 hours.
Allow it to mellow for at least 2 weeks and up to 1 month before eating.
But you might still consume them immediately upon cooling.
