Cut the cauliflower florets in half and place them in a bowl.
Pour the hot water into the bowl and let it sit for 15 minutes.
After that, remove the water.

Add plain flour, corn flour, salt, chili powder, and water to a bowl.
Mix them all until smooth and lump-free.
Pour a generous amount of oil into a pan.
Put the florets into the batter and thoroughly coat them.
Once the oil is hot, deep fry the coated florets until crispy and well cooked.
Transfer to a plate with a paper towel to remove excess oil.
Mix all ingredients until well combined then add the soy sauce, ketchup, and honey.
Once simmering, add corn flour and water to a small bowl then mix to make a slurry.
Pour into the mixture and add 1/4 cup of water.
Simmer for 5 minutes.
