Cinder blocks are one of the cheapest and easy to use building materials on the market.
Bottom line was, that this project looked way more expensive than it actually was.
That pricepoint really pushed us over any doubts we may have had about the cinder block idea.

The other interesting thing is that you really could look at this as a base material to resurface.
Then, the appliances are brought in and fit smoothly into the designated areas.
There is also a bar area that adds a lot of visual appeal.
This bar and barbecue area is so cool!
