After this, pin all the way around the outside.
Now, start sewing your project using a 3/8 seam allowance.

Leave a gap of about 8 to 10 depending on the size of your quilt.
Trim the batting close to where the seam is all the way around so it wont be bulky.
After this, clip the corners, then turn your quilt right side out through the gap.

Now, pin the gap shut and sew it close.
The last thing youll do is either youll tie the quilt or you could hand or machine quilt it.
