Step 2:
Place the bath towel on your dash to catch the drippings from the squeegee.
This will leave zero spots on your dash while you clean the glass.
Put your cloth in the water and squeeze a little bit.
Wipe the inside of your windshield.
After each pass, use the clean rag to wipe off the squeegee.
When you are done, just use the squeegee or the rag to get the excess off the windshield.
