Do you have a bag or pair of jeans with a broken zipper?
If you are not good at sewing, fixing the whole zipper by tearing it off can be difficult.
Dont throw them out yet, as you could still fix them easily on your own with this technique.

Cut down as close as possible to the zipper.
You just want a little slash and not through the end.
If your zipper doesnt work properly and doesnt close, it might be loose on the back end.
Clamp down the back bottom end of the zipper lightly with pliers.
Go ahead and rethread it.
Just keep going around in a circle on that end right before the snip.
