Mind you, I keep fruits all year round bananas, apples, mangoes and anything remotely in season.
Apparently, I am not the only one in the house now who wants to enjoy eating those bananas… Something simply had to be done, but what?
Let me show you how easy it is to make a fruit fly trap for your kitchen.

You will need either a mason jar with ring lid or a small bowl and a rubber band.
Was I ever happy!
Fruit fly problem, gone!
I love that this solution involved no chemicals or harsh pesticides, and it is super effective.

You might not ever have to share another banana or peach with those pesky little fruit flies.
This trap works by enticing those fruit flies to one of their favorite sweet smells vinegar.
Eventually, they drown in the vinegar and you might just dump it out.

It should not take long to catch all of them.
Mine were gone within 24 hours, just using two little traps.
See how many fruit flies I caught?

Those are my former unwanted house guests floating in their vinegar grave.
