One important sweet snack though that most of our parents allow us to eat though are Oreos.

Well, oreos can be a holiday dessert as well.
I tried making the candy from YouTubes Quick Simple & Delicious, and it did not disappoint.
Its quick, simple, and appropriate for the holidays.

Ingredients:
Directions:
Start by crushing the cookies in a food processor.
Then, place it in a bowl.
Reserve 1 teaspoon of cookie crumbs to use as decoration later.

Put in mascarpone cheese or any cream cheese as a substitute.
Mesh well with the crushed cookies until you achieve a soft, slightly sticky texture.
Take a walnut-sized portion of the mixture and shape it into a ball.
Repeat until theres nothing left of the mixture.
Place a bowl over a boiling pot of water.
Put the white chocolate in the bowl to melt.
Dip the Oreo balls into the melted chocolate.
After that, place them on a tray thats layered with parchment paper.
Sprinkle the reserved crumbs over the chocolate balls and refrigerate for at least 5 minutes.
Then, serve this melt-in-your-mouth dessert.
Truly, its a treat fit for this Christmas season.
