Start by chopping dates, prunes, and candied citrus fruits.

And then juice each one.Then pour the juice into the pot of mixed fruits.
Allow to cool completely after heating thoroughly over low heat.
Grind the hazelnuts and almonds in a mixer until powdery.

In a bowl, whisk butter and sugar together until smooth.
Pour in the molasses and combine with a mixer.
Add in the eggs one at a time.

When added, mix each one.
Continue mixing until the mixture becomes light and smooth.
Sift flour, cocoa powder, and nuts one at a time in a bowl.
Put all the herbs and spices on a plate.
Add in the baking powder and baking soda.
Then combine them together.
Once combined, Add the combination to the sifted flour, cocoa, and nuts.
Mix everything slowly with a whisk.
Then add it to the butter mixture.
