Prepare all the needed ingredients.
Transfer the sliced peaches from the can and pour them into a pan.

Pour in half a cup of the white sugar and stir until combined.
By pouring half and half of the sugar into the peaches,itwill avoid clumping the sugar.
Next, add half and half of the brown sugar to the white sugar.

Pour over 1 tsp of ground cinnamon and mix until well combined.
Then, add in 1 tsp of nutmeg and mix until combined.
Pouring each spice one by one while stirring in between gives the peaches time to incorporate more.

Place the pan over medium heat and lower it to about 200 degrees.
Let the peaches cook for about fifteen minutes with the lid on.
Lay and stretch the pie crusts neatly on the greased pan.
When the peaches are ready, gently pour them into the greased pan with the pie crusts.
Slice the other box of pie crust into strips.
Place the strips on top of the peaches by stacking them like basket weaving or as so.
Brush the melted butter on the pie crust strips.
