Add sugar, orange juice, cooking oil, and cake flour, then continue mixing until well-combined.
Add baking powder then mix gently until fully combined.
Grease the baking pan by brushing it with butter, then sift sugar all over the pan.
Place the slices of oranges at the bottom and pour the cake batter over.
Bake it in a preheated 180Cfor about 45 minutes until cooked all the way through.
