Prepare, clean, and wash your vegetables.
Roughly peel the russet potatoes and cut them into half-inch cubes.
Then, stir in the flour and let it cook for 2 to 3 minutes more.

Slowly pour in the broth, half and half, and clam juice.
Step 3
Add in the potatoes and bring it to a simmer.
Once the potatoes are near tender, add in the chopped clams(juice and all).

Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serve hot topped with cooked bacon, chives, and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese.
