Cut your exterior fabric and your cotton fabric to these dimensions also.
Cut some 6 x 2 fabric also for the loop.
Take this to the sewing machine and sew the short ends with 1/4 seam allowance.
After this, turn the potato bag right side out.

Next, sew a 1/4 top stitch on the short sides.
Sew with a 1/4 seam allowance (leave a gap to turn the loop.)
After sewing, turn it inside out.
Pin it in place and sew the two short ends with 1/4 seam allowance.
After this, turn the potato bag right side out.
Your potato bag is now finished.
