After cutting, you now have three sections that are 13 & 1/2 long.

The next thing youll do is sew these together to make a block.
Now, after cutting, take your center section and flip it in the opposite direction.
Sew these together into different columns and that will be your completed block.
Once this block is complete, it will measure 12 & 1/2 square.
You will repeat this process with all of your pairings to create a total of 20 blocks.
