Well, heres an awesome solution!
This cool looking distressed door with shelves adds color and an eclectic look to my patio.
Now Im adding a turquoise weathered/distressed bench to my patio, I painted my pots with bright colored designs.
Then I hung some colorful wind chimes & bird houses.
Now that Ive brightened everything up, my patio looks FABULOUS!
Then paint more patches in Lace.
Rub sections of the door and wood pieces with wax.
He uses Gulf Wax from the grocery store, but you might use candle wax too.
Then paint the entire door and wood pieces with Delicate.
Sand to reveal base colors.
Scuff up the door and wood with a hammer to make them appear more aged.
Next, position and mark the L Brackets and screw into the wood pieces.
Position and mark the shelves and screw into door.
Then paint the brackets to blend with the door.
Stencil top center of the door with Chalky Finish in Rustic.
Now you’ve got the option to add your plants and enjoy your creation!
