Its more economical that way and Im still able to keep them and use them from year to year. To make these stars, I used a leftover roll of white glittered gift wrap from Michaels. To support them, I simply glued them to shimmery card stock. Best of all, they cost pennies to make. Its fun to do these with your children over their Christmas break and keeps them occupied....
Its amazing how something constructed of simple cardboard and a little bit of paint can be so darling! I also added some fake snow, giving it that winter wonderland effect. Once made, this looks so beautiful with a little fake snow flakes sprinkled around them.
