Place the lid on and pulse a couple of times to mix the dry ingredients well.

Step 2:
Crack 1 egg and separate the yolk from the white in two small bowls.
Add 1 stick or 1/2 cup of butter and the egg yolk into the food processor.
Place the lid back and pulse until you get fine crumbs.

You want the consistency that holds together when you squeeze it in your hand.
Add about 2/3 of the crumbs into the dish and spread in an even layer.
Step 4:
Thoroughly wash the strawberries, then take out the cores of them.
Next, chop them into little pieces and place them in a bowl.
Add 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and a 1/4 cup of sugar to the strawberries.
Mix them together using a spoon.
Step 5:
Put the strawberries on top of the crust.
Spread them out in an even layer.
Take the remaining crumbs and sprinkle them on the berries.
