Step 2:
Melt butter over medium-high in a large skillet with a lid.

Then add chicken thighs, skin side down.
Cook for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown.
Flip the chicken and cook the other side for 1 minute, then remove and place on a plate.

Step 3:
Brown the drumsticks.
Do each side for about 2 minutes each, then remove from the skillet.
Step 4:
Add the mushrooms, onion, bay leaves, and thyme.
Cook for 5 minutes until the mushroom is lightly golden.
Step 5:
Add garlic and stir for 30 seconds.
Then add flour and cook for 1 minute.
Step 6:
Add wine and chicken stock.
Stir and scrape the base of the pot to dissolve the brown residue.
Step 7:
Put the chicken back into the pan with the skin side up.
Cover the lid and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 9:
Remove the cover and let it simmer for 20 minutes more.
peek if the chickens internal temperature is 167 degrees F or slightly higher.
Step 10:
Remove chicken from the plate, then add cream.
Once it simmers, taste the sauce and add more salt if desired.
Step 11:
Return the chicken into the sauce, then remove it from heat.
Sprinkle with parsley, then serve.
