To start, place the backing fabric right sides down, then a printed piece, right sides up.
Secure the two layers with pins, then sew right along the lines you drew.
Repeat this step until you have nine sets done.

Next, lay out the pieces to determine the pattern you want.
Place a pin in the first block of each row to help keep everything in order.
Sew down one side to attach with a half-inch seam allowance.

Repeat this step with all three remaining rows and lay them back out in order.
After this, sew the rows together the same way as the blocks.
Place the wrong sides together and sew with a half-inch seam allowance.
Once all the rows are together, sew a seam around the outer edge at a half-inch.
Snip all the seam allowances and the outer border about every half-inch.
