Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 degrees Fahrenheit).
Mix well until the dough forms.

Cover the bowl for 20 minutes to let the gluten develop using a cloth.
After that, add 1/3 cup of butter and 1 tsp of salt.
Use your hands to mix until the dough is incorporated.

Transfer the dough to a lightly floured counter and knead.
Slap and fold the dough until it is smooth and elastic.
Smooth the dough into a ball and place it in an oiled bowl.

Using a cloth, cover the bowl for 45 minutes.
Transfer it to the counter and divide it into 9 equal pieces.
Wrap each piece in a cloth and set them aside for 10 minutes.
With each piece, roll it out gently using a rolling pin.
Roll the pieces into a log shape and pinch the edges to seal.
Grease an 8-inch x 12-inch baking dish and place each log of dough in it.
Cover the dish with a cloth for 30 mins.
Lastly, brush the top of the milk bread with melted butter.
