Once done, remove from the pan and place on a plate with paper towels.

Step 3:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 913 baking dish.
Step 6:
Add the thawed hash browns and egg mixture.
Step 7:
Add the cooked sausage, chopped onions, and half of the shredded cheese.

Stir until well combined.
Step 8:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
Sprinkle the remaining Colby jack cheese on top.
Step 9:
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake it for about 50 minutes.
Step 10:
Slice the sausage hash brown into 12 pieces and serve.
