The length of the pen holder will be according to how many pens you are expecting to put.
This DIY notebook pen holder is super cute because you might use any fabric to match your style.
Fold the pocket fabric piece in half.
Then, place the pocket piece on top of the other fabric pieces to create a pocket.
If using the fold over elastic, use the pretty side facing down.
Align the elastic in the center of the fabric and stitch the elastic down.
Next, take your other fabric piece with the right side facing down on top of the elastic one.
Topstitch all around, but leave an opening for the pocket.
Do not stitch the elastic.
This would keep me organized with the pens being in front of my planner with this pen compartment.
