I think the textures balance out well, and its super easy to make in one bowl.
I love pie recipes that combine all of the ingredients in one bowl because it saves time and dishes.
Normally, I do not like pecans, but this is one of my favorite holiday desserts.

Next, pour the pecan pie mixture into an unbaked 9 pastry pie crust.
Top off the pie with whole pecans and bake for 45-55 minutes in a preheated oven at 350F.

Note: ensure to monitor the pecan pie at 10 minutes before finished.
You dont want the pecans to brown too much and burn.
Let the pie set before serving a slice.
I love adding whipped cream on top.
I think its interesting that this recipe uses pancake syrup because I usually have that readily available.
