Mix the dry ingredients together.
Step 2:
Put a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add 1 stick of butter and let it melt for 4 to 5 minutes until golden brown.

check that to not burn the butter.
Step 3:
Add a tablespoon of vanilla extract and the browned butter to the dry mixture.
Mix until well combined using a spatula.
you’re able to now easily form the mixture.
Let it cool for a couple of minutes.
Clump the mixture together and then break it apart into chunks.
Cover the bowl with a cling wrap and place it in the fridge for about 30 to 45 minutes.
Step 4:
Peel the apples, then cut them into small pieces.
Place them in a small saucepan.
Mix them and cook on the stove for about 5 minutes over medium heat with the lid on top.
Once the sauce thickens, turn off the heat.
Step 6:
Transfer the apples to a pie plate in one nice layer.
Once done, let it cool a little bit before serving.
