Once hot, add the diced onions, carrots and celery.
Mix then let them cook for about 4 to 5 minutes.
Step 3:
Add the chopped cabbage into the pot.

Let it cook for about 5 minutes while stirring frequently, so all of the pieces are soft.
Let it simmer uncovered for about 10 minutes or until the vegetables are cooked to your liking.
Step 5:
Take off the cabbage soup from the heat.
Season with lemon juice, parsley and cracked bell pepper.
Give it a good mix then its ready to serve.
