Southern cooking is one of the best sources of comfort food for me.
It reminds me of family gatherings around the dinner table on Thanksgiving.
And just down-to-earth dishes.

Jamie Deen breaks down this well-loved recipe onPaula Deens Youtube channel.
Its quick and easy and so full of love for the holiday season.
First, you melt the butter in a large skillet on medium heat.

Then add in the onions, garlic, and celery and stir to cook for about 10 minutes.
verify they dont turn brown.
Once youre finished cooking the vegetables, put them all in a large bowl.

Pour into the mixture chicken broth and chicken soup.
Then whisk in the eggs, poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Whisk everything until it becomes the right texture for you.
Jamie Deen prefers wet dressing because, according to him, dry dressing isnt delicious.
The final step is to pour the entire mixture into a baking pan.
Once youve spread everything evenly on the pan, its ready to put it inside the oven.
Bake for 45 to 55 minutes.
Its really good to verify that the dressing isnt dry inside when you dig in.
It has to be moist.
Something Southern for this coming Thanksgiving.
Definitely something full of heart.
