(ensure the strips youre sewing together have contrasting colors.)
After sewing, press the seams toward the darker fabric.
you might also work in groups of four strips if you want to make the process faster.
(When pressing the top, be very careful as youre working with longer strip sets of fabric.)

Step 2
After pressing the strip set, youre now going to sub-cut it.
Get your ruler and rotary cutter and cut the strip set into an 8 & 1/2 block.
Repeat this process with the rest of your strip sets.
After this, you’re free to now add your sashing.
(confirm youre sewing those long seams on a quarter inch.)
