I love nativity scenes and believe its important to have at least one in your home at Christmas time.
This is why I think this is a wonderful thing to do with children.
I made one of these with my grandchildren and we had such an enjoyable day making these.
They actually did really good with painting them too!

My favorite nativity scenes are the simple ones like this one.
The more simple they are, the more fond I am of them!
I just tend to love things that look like children made them.
I never caught what kind of clay this gal in the tutorial used.
