I love how its nicely glazed, but I am not a big fan of sweet carrots.
I think it would add a nice flavor with other ingredients too.
Glazed carrots remind me of the holidays, and they look nice and tender.

Ingredients:
Directions:
First, peel the carrots and cut into equal-sized pieces.
On a large pan over medium-high heat, add butter.
Once the butter has melted, place the carrots into the pan.

Then season with salt to taste.
Cook the carrots for about 5-6 minutes, but do not cook them all the way through.
Next, bring the heat down to medium-low and add in the whiskey.

Let it simmer until most of the whiskey evaporates.
Then, let the glaze coat over the carrots, and cook until tender.
Do not cook until mushy.
Turn up the heat to medium-high to thicken the glaze once the carrots are cooked perfectly.

Garnish with some fresh thyme or an herb to add a different color pop to the carrots.
