This DIY project certainly took me by surprise!
When I ran across it, I knew it was something I just had to share with you all!
Therefore, something had to be done to the torn lamp shade.
Then I stumbled onto this tutorial.
After watching it, I knew that I had to put chicken wire on my lampshade!
A found a roll at Home Depot.
The lady working there gave me a really strange look when I said I needed it for a lampshade!
As soon as I got home, I started wrapping the shade with chicken wire.
I used small pieces of wire to attach the chicken wire to the frame.
Just a heads up, when you do anything with chicken wire, wear gloves!
I used vintage earrings for the centers of two of the flowers.
Its also great for attaching reminders, quotes and affirmations and jewelry.
Whatever you prefer…the flowers are quite charming!
